After sleeping til nearly 1:00 today, I am oddly disappointed to say that I slept through the rest of the night after my last posting at 1:30, and am now sitting here having my crow pie for breakfast. It's beautiful outside, with a nice breeze, dammit.
Gary got up around 3 and sat on the back of the boat til about 5am. The only thing that "happened" was the water level under the boat rose so high all but about an inch of the fire extinguisher on the pylon was completely below the trash receptacle fixed on the dock, so that put the depth at about 9.6 feet, 2.5 feet above normal.
The biggest thing I'm disappointed about is that I didn't get to wear these:
