Since I turned in my notice 6 weeks ago, I have had at least a couple of meetings, customer appointments or something on my calendar each day to make the time go by quicker. Today is the first day I haven't had a single appointment in what seems like WEEKS and it's been such. a. long. day.
In the past six weeks I've been to the dentist no less than 3 times, the gyno twice, the eye doctor (also twice if you count the visit I made to my old eye doctor who no longer accepts my vision plan but waited til I showed up at his office to tell me) and I've still been seeing my therapist every other week. Obviously the idea is to use up as much of my benefits before May 9, my last day at work.
The highlight of my day today will be the bikini wax I'm getting after work tonight, in preparation for the trip next week. GOD FORBID I leave before 6PM on the dot lest I be accused of not putting in a full day!!! Honestly. 10 HOURS A DAY! Who does that?!?
